Brooke Jacob

Brooke is the co-creator of The Real Babysitters of New York. Brooke has been performing since she came out of the womb. Like, seriously. Her parents’ proudest moment is that Brooke was the “Bath Baby” when she was born. At only a day old she was the demonstration model for parents to learn to bathe their babies at the hospital. Apparently, this is when Brooke caught the acting bug. Another proud moment is when she was 2 years old, and she went to see Richard Harris in the touring production of Camelot. Mr. Harris came off of the stage, and picked Brooke up, and in character said, “King Arthur requests the young lady to keep her voice down”. This was Brooke’s first “appearance” in a national tour. Since then, Brooke has performed around the country in numerous plays and musicals. For more information on Brooke’s performances visit her site. Brooke studied improvisation at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, which is where she met her writing partner, Becky Whittemore. This is when an idea was born… Brooke recently married a very handsome boy, and they are the proud parents of a very handsome puppy.
